6:52 - Heat alert, Women's finals

What a great day for Fitzgibbons it was; scoring 8's and 9's and finishing off with her first victory on the world tour. Great surf, great fun :)

And here's some fun stuff from the "Expression session" ENJOY

Only... All this kinda makes me miss my own little surfboard even more. So I've been studying the moves, HARD, first and foremost; Takeoffs and duckdives, YEAH!

So, when is next session? May? June? ...I'm dedicating this evening to searching for options,
... AND, eating lamb roast Mmmmmm Happy Easter times :)

Yeah, that's how much surftime you can replay from Friday's contest down at Rincon! All thumbs up and heaps thanks for that!

Biggest day of Rip Curl pro tomorrow?

The forecast promises bigger waves tomorrow and looking at some of the waves from day 3 it is bound to be AWESOME! Today offered a triple barrel ride and many beautiful turns. Melanie Bartels(9.5 top score wave) and Carissa Moore was truly inspiring surf!

Follow the event at www.live.ripcurl.com or click here to sign up for heat alerts.

But where is the 'Women's heats on demand' folder? Upload NOW, por favor! 'Til then, startpage top 10 waves. I liked Silviana Lima's surfing the best in the first heat. In upcoming heats I wish for someone to step up to get the bigger set waves... Or perhaps such things don't happen on tour?

The Dashing Suns

For you? The Dashing Suns from Oakland, California, will definitely rock it up on my spring-playlist! Getting me into a feeling of being in the sun, skateboarding, surf, friends and days of complete carefreeness... Nothing major, not the new best of all times or winner of best song ever. Just simple, feelgood music!

No need for traffic jams!?

Planet som inte kräver pilotlicens

Foto: Flynano

"På flygmässan Aero i tyska Friedrichshafen presenterades den ett finskt flygplan som egentligen inte är ett plan. Det är så lätt att det inte klassas som flygplan." Jan Melin/Ny Teknik

Presented at the Aero expo in Germany, the latest must-have! It only weighs 70kg and no pilot licence is required to be able to drive this thing. I WANT ONE!

Summertime!

Yabadabadooo, we've lifted the cover off the pool and now we are ready. So bring it on sun, give us a bit of summer!

Macarons, makroner... Mmmmm

As a surprise for Pepijn I made macarons and mint kisses. It was waaaay harder than I thought so I ended up problably using 1000g of almonds instead of the 400 that I would've used had I had skills... Now I know the tricks though, these were DELICIOUS, and in my opinion, oh so cute :)

Then we watched Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows on the projector screen; blue ray, high-tech-cant-pronounce-it-speakers and extra comfy seats, who needs cinemas then. Gotta enjoy it while we still can, soon it'll be noodles and playing chess. Tomorrow it's 13hrs of work and then birthdayparty followed by night out on town, busy saturday so maybe I can treat myself and sneak to bed early...

...Laater!

A thousand papers give more trouble than a thousand pictures...

... Spring time... And time for declaration of income, a time of searching and of paper cuts... Before the happy day when you get heaps money back :)

May 2nd, last day for most Swedes. Don't be late, It sucks to be late...

Phew...

Happy is what I am, after two days of work and 27 hours, happy but tired. Luckily the sun is shining big time this weekend and I think the porch might be the spot of the day. So today I'll be getting some bronzing-time in and finishing my current novel; The Brightest Star in the Sky, by Marian Keyes.

Finally got started on the studying!

Thanks to some people at who's posted lectures at the OpenCourseWare of:

I think these videos are going to prep me to pass the last maths exam this spring! It's easy, it's portable(way more than that 5kg book that comes with the course) and you can go back to listen again(over and over and over again).

But I also found this site that I want to share, they post videos from various maths and statistics courses aswell as examples and lecture notes.  http://www.mathvids.com/

The content of this video is what I've been trying to squeeze into my brain today...

Yey, happy times :)

This week I'll be watching...
